Development

If you own stocks that no longer align with your values, you can turn them into a meaningful gift for your parish. Stock donations are a simple and tax-smart way to support the Church while maximizing your impact. A stock donation is a way to give to a charitable organization by donating shares of publicly traded stocks, mutual funds, or other securities instead of cash.

The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth is excited to announce the availability of scholarships for students actively engaged in their parish community. These scholarships aim to support students who demonstrate a strong commitment to Church renewal, leadership, and academic excellence. These scholarships are made possible by the Patrick Power Foundation, the Archbishop James Hayes Trust, the John T. Joy Trust, the A.M. Hynes Fund, and the Father Caissie Fund.

We are grateful for all contributions to all our special collections for 2024.  It is only through the generosity of many people that the Archdiocese is able to provide the support and resources needed for the pastoral work of Archbishop Dunn and the parishes of our local Church.

How Do I Continue to Give

We  encourage you to continue to support your  parish and the Archdiocese during this difficult time. Parish financial obligations continue and your contributions are vital to help your parish find safe and meaningful ways to reach out to people in these challenging days.  Please contact your parish to learn about your options to give. You can also visit www.halifaxyarmouth.org to make a donation to your local parish or the Archdiocese. We are very grateful for your continued support.
