Do you know about Our Daily Bread Outreach? This ministry has been serving people living on the streets in downtown Halifax for over 15 years.  Run out of the hall at Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica this ministry relies on volunteers from all over the Archdiocese. Daily Bread is currently open from Tuesday through Friday between 1:00 and 2:30pm.

The downtown offices of the Archdiocese will be closed at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 24 and re-open in the new year on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

To that end there will also be no Halifax-Yarmouth News Services posted next week nor while the office is closed. The next edition of the news service will be emailed to subscribers on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

Archbishop Dunn and the staff of the Catholic Diocesan Centre wish all a very Merry Christmas and many blessings for the new year…a Jubilee Year!!  We look forward to serving you in 2025.
