Archbishop Dunn met with Ramy Chan, Executive Director of Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) in Cambodia, at a potluck dinner with members of Development and Peace on March 17. YRDP is a grassroot partner of Development and Peace. Ramy was touring Atlantic Canada to share about her work with Cambodian young people. Her organization works to empower youth to exercise their civil and political rights and to strengthen their critical thinking skills. This allows them to work for social change in their communities. Ramy also spoke with parishioners at the Cathedral Basilica of St Mary and with staff members of the diocese at an event on March 23.
At end of February and continuing for six consecutive weeks, In Solidarity with Ukraine, a documentary produced by the Knight of Columbus will air on ABC affiliates across the United States through a partnership with the Interfaith Broadcasting Commission.
