The students and faculty of Frassati Academy, an independent Catholic school in Halifax rooted in the classical tradition, would love to have you join us for our spring concert on Thursday, May 21, at 6:30 pm in St. Agnes Church, Mumford Rd, Halifax.
The concert will include songs and readings conducive to prayer and reflection. It will be centred on themes our students have been reflecting on this year through prayer and song: the joy of praising God, God’s abundant love and grace, the model of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the reality and gift of Jesus’ true presence in the Holy Eucharist, the virtue of Christian charity (so important to the life of our patron saint: St. Pier Giorgio Frassati), and the strength and hope Jesus offers in his resurrection. It is our hope and prayer that this concert invites you to reflect on these sacred realities through transcendental beauty.
