The annual National Week for Family and Life Week 2026 (NFLW2026) is coming up! This initiative of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) calls Canadian Catholics to highlight the ways we can pray for and promote life and the family.
NFLW2026 will take place from Sunday, 10 to Sunday, 17 May 2026, centring on the theme “I am with you always” (cf. Matthew 28:20), which reminds the domestic church that Christ remains with us in our joys, struggles, across generations, and in all of life's experiences. Check out their video by clicking here. You will also find this video and a number of resources to help individuals and groups pray for and participate in NFLW 2026 on the CCCB website: www.cccb.ca The resources are available in English and French.
As shared in his message for NFLW 2026, The Most Rev. Pierre Goudreaut, president of the CCCB said:
As we celebrate National Family and Life Week, may we model ourselves on the Holy Family, finding consolation and hope through prayer and the Sacraments, remembering that we are never truly alone, for God is with us always “to the end of the age.”
