World Day of the Sick: February 11

Each year on February 11, Catholics around the world recognize the World Day of the Sick.  On this, the 34st World Day of the Sick, we are mindful of all who are sick and ill in any way and those who care for them.  Each year the Pope  releases a message to commemorate this day. Pope Leo’s message for 2026 can be found by clicking here or by visiting the Vatican website: www.vatican.va

The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) offers some resources for this day including logos, pastoral resources, and a prayer card.  Links to these resources can be found by clicking here.  These resources are available in English and French.
