All across the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth our parishes have invited people to meet Jesus. Have you done so? Inviting someone to anything, let alone to encounter Jesus Christ, is not always an easy task. So, Archbishop Dunn would like to help you! The theme of this year’s Assembly of the People of God was: invitation. As a result of Hurricane Fiona the Assembly was cancelled. However, we didn’t want you to miss out on the great content so the Assembly is available on video!
You can still sign up for our 2022 Assembly of the People of God video series. You will receive a message from Archbishop Dunn as well as the keynote address from Ryan O’Hara. Both speak of the call we, as missionary disciples of Christ, have to share the Good News and invite others to encounter Christ.
By signing up you will not only get the keynotes but also three follow up videos from Ryan that go deeper on the topic of invitation. These videos contain practical training on how to invite people, how to follow up, and how to prepare for your parish's next evangelization initiative in advance. Ryan offers actionable steps that will help people feel confident about their ability to reach out to their family, friends, and neighbors to invite them to be involved in the exciting things happening at your parish.
