Archbishop Dunn wants to see you at our 2023 Assembly of the People of God! It’s the one time of the year that our whole diocesan family comes together to pray, reflect, and discern the next steps to live our call to proclaim Christ and make disciples in Halifax-Yarmouth.
Our gathering is also a tangible reminder that we do not walk our journey of faith alone. In fact, Pope Francis convened a whole synod to remind Catholics worldwide that we walk together. So locally, guided by the Holy Spirit, we will explore what it means to accompany one another to know, love, and be transformed by Christ. Our keynote speaker, Christian Catholic Outreach (CCO) co-founder, André Regnier will help us explore what accompaniment means and how we can intentionally accompany one another. André has over 30 years of experience of walking with the CCO missionaries and staff he ministers with. He will also speak about CCO’s intentional accompaniment model. Through facilitated small group sessions and spiritual conversation, Assembly attendees will share their own experiences and hopes of how we can meet people wherever they are in their journey as a believer in Christ. Or even, how we accompany those who have yet to encounter Christ!
It will be a jam packed Assembly and you won’t want to miss it!
The registration deadline for the Assembly is Friday, October 27 – so register now!
