Lent Begins Next Week!

March 5 is Ash Wednesday.  This special day signals the beginning of Lent for many Christian traditions. May we enter this 40 day Lenten season during this Jubilee Year with expectant hope; a hope that guides and strengthens our intentional acts of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. 

The schedule for Ash Wednesday Masses at our Cathedral and Co-Cathedral are as follows:

Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica, Halifax

  • 7:30 am
  • 12:15pm
  • 6:30 pm

Saint Ambrose Co-Cathedral, Yarmouth

  • 9:00 am
  • 6:30 pm.
