Celebrate the Canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis

During the Jubilee Year Pope Francis will canonize a number of saint. Of particular interest to many in our Archdiocese is the canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis on April 27, appropriately during the Jubilee of Teenagers. A relic of blessed Carlo made its first visit to Canada during our Eucharistic Congress in October 2024.  At that time Archbishop Dunn and the Archdiocese was gifted our very own relic of Blessed Carlo.

In anticipation of Blessed Carlo’s canonization,  Archbishop Dunn will celebrate the 12:15 Mass on Saturday, April 26 at Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica. During the Mass there will be an opportunity to venerate Blessed Carlo’s relic.  Following Mass there will also be an opportunity for people to take time to pray with and  venerate the relic of soon-to-be Saint Carlo Acutis until 3:00pm.  All are welcome!
