Steubenville Atlantic

The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of conferences across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. Our mission is to build the Church by evangelizing, equipping, and empowering God’s children to become radical and joyful disciples.  Our theme this year is:                                      Illuminate It’s based on John 1:5 “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.”

Christ promised the even when our days or situations seem dark, He shines brightly to strengthen us and guide our way forward.Christ’s light can never be extinguished!  Join us at this year’s Steubenville Atlantic as engaging speakers, music, and worship help us to break open this theme and recognize that Christ’s Light illuminates us so that we can share that light with others and make our world a brighter place!

Steubenville Atlantic is Here!

This Friday we will welcome over 500 teens, youth leaders, and volunteers to Steubenville Atlantic 2024!  Over three days, July 5-7,  these teens will come together on Saint Mary’s University campus  to pray together,  worship together, and grow together in their faith.  This weekend offers a unique way to encounter Christ and change their lives.

On the topic of life-changing, 30 young people have taken their Steubenville experience a step further and are gathered right now to take part in Franciscan LEAD.  On Monday, July 1 these teens begin a five day Christ-centered, sacrament-soaked, prayer fueled immersion in Catholic teachings on leadership, evangelization, and discipleship inspired by the life and witness of St. Francis of Assisi. During the week, teens will be given the tools to grow closer in their relationship with Jesus and develop essentials for servant leadership.  At the end of the week they re-join their youth group to experience the excitement and energy of Steubenville Atlantic youth conference.

We invite you to pray for everyone who will attend this year’s Steubenville Atlantic, the teens, their group leaders, volunteers, and the ministry team. As they encounter Christ may they hear God calling them to share their gifts with the world.
