Archbishop Brian Dunn will celebrate the opening Mass for Frassati Academy, Halifax’s new independent Catholic school, on Friday, November 28 at 12:10 p.m. at St. Agnes Church, part of Good Shepherd Parish (6903 Mumford Rd).
All are warmly invited to join us for this joyful celebration as we give thanks to God for the gift of Catholic education and entrust this new school to the Lord’s care. After Mass, guests are welcome to see the school and meet our faculty. Join us in praying for the students, families, and teachers of Frassati Academy.

Priority- Catechesis

In addition to a program of evangelization, each Parish must have a process of ongoing formation in faith for children and adults. Growth in our closeness to the Lord and friendship with Him comes not only from study but also from encounter. All of our methods should be holistic in their approach to formation: human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral. On this page throughout the year, we will post material and resources to help all of us work towards strengthening these priorities in our parish communities.
