Board Members needed for Hand in Hand Thrift Store

Currently, we are seeking volunteers to serve on the new Board of Hand in Hand Located at 440 Herring Cove Rd, Spryfield, Halifax. Hand in Hand Thrift Store has long been a valued part of the Special Works of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Halifax Particular Council.

For the last 30 years plus, Hand in Hand has been providing clothing and household products to

our neighbours in need. It also provides employment and volunteer opportunities. Funds raised support the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  Much more than just a retail outlet, it is a safe haven and meeting place for the community. Service would involve approximately 6-8 meetings annually. The focus of the new board will be to provide direction and a renewed vision.

Please consider contributing your time and talents to this very worthwhile cause. This is a great way to live your faith through meaningful service. Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
