The Board of Directors of local Catholic bookstore, Veritas, sadly announces it will have to close at the end of September 2026. The store has proved Catholic books, gifts, and other liturgical supplies to the faithful in the local area for over 31 years. The announcement from the Board is below:
It is with heavy hearts that the Board of Directors of Veritas Catholic Books and Gifts announces its closure after 31 years of operation. The closing date will be Sept 30 2026. Veritas is forever grateful for all the generous support it has received from the various parishes over the years. This apostolate for Catholic and other faithful of various denominations has done its best in its important mission of serving as God's store. In the coming weeks, we ask all those in our faith community to be generous in their support as Veritas unwinds its valued inventory. There will be announcements posted on the Veritas store window announcing more specifics in terms of pricing.
