Living Nativity December 21 Outdoors at St Stephen

The Franciscans of Halifax invite you to join them on Saturday, December 21, 2024 a living nativity and the miracle at Greccio that was started by St. Francis of Assisi in Italy in 1223. The event will go from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and include a Christmas Gospel proclamation and carols.

Gather in the park space across from St Stephen Church, 6032 Normandy Dr., (part of Saint Francis and Saint Clare of Assisi Parish) following the 4:00 PM Mass. The live nativity scene will feature a stable, shepherds, a few wise men, and live animals. Bundle up and come enjoy some hot chocolate as we celebrate the First Noel together. Instead of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, we ask you to consider bringing a non-perishable food item for Our Daily Bread Outreach Ministry that is run out of St Mary’s Cathedral. Bring your family and let us join our voices in this glorious Christmas tradition.
