New Staff at the Catholic Diocesan Centre

This month Archbishop Dunn and his staff were pleased to welcome two new members to the team at the Catholic Diocesan Centre.  Each will take on the leadership and responsibilities of two areas vital to our service to the people and parishes of the Archdiocese: human resources and financial administration.

Kimerline D’Souza, Human Resources Lead

Kimerline started in early November and is a skilled HR professional with over five years of experience and a strong foundation in human resources management. She brings specialized expertise in areas such as employee life cycle management, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HRIS systems. Previously, she served as an Associate Human Resource Business Partner for the Province of Nova Scotia, where she collaborated with senior management and cross-functional teams to implement effective HR strategies, lead investigations, manage HR templates, and mentor her team.

Cecilia Tibayan, Finance Administrator

Cecilia started in late November and is a certified professional and general accountant with over 20 years of diverse experience in investment and financial services, dental and healthcare, construction, and banking industries. She brings expertise in areas such as supporting international entities, cost control analysis, financial consolidation and multi-currency financial reporting. Previously, she served as a Director of Finance for MUFG Investors Services, where she worked with the controllers of 19 jurisdictions to consolidate the financial reporting for the group.

Both Kimerline and Cecilia are active members of their respective parishes.  As each them continue to feed and nurture their faith they felt a strong call to share their gifts to build up our local Church.

We’re thrilled to have them join us and bring their experience and expertise in fruitful service to the people of the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth…and we are grateful!

Welcome Kimerline and Cecilia!
