CCCB Plenary

This week Archbishop Dunn will gather with his brother bishops for the Plenary Assembly of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) in Ontario.  This meeting brings together 79 Bishops to deliberate, discern, and discuss the life of the Church in Canada, including:

  • Discussions on palliative care and the expansion of the eligibility criteria for MAiD
  • Updates on collaborations with Development and Peace – Caritas Canada (DPCC)
  • Updates from the Standing Committee for Responsible Ministry and the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Persons
  • Discussions and reflections for the  XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops happening in October 2023
