National Day of Prayer in Solidarity with Indigenous Peoples

December 12, the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is also recognized as the National Day for Prayer in Solidarity with Indigenous Peoples for the Canadian Church.  Archbishop Dunn will celebrate a special Mass at 10:00am at Saint Mary’s Cathedral on December 12. As part of the Mass there will be a presentation on our Lady of Guadalupe from the Honourable Graydon Nicholas, former lieutenant governor of New Brunswick.

The Hon. Graydon Nicholas, C.M., O.N.B., LL.D. is a distinguished and highly respected Wolastoqey Elder, lawyer, judge, social worker, and activist. He is originally from Tobique First Nation, which is 180 kilometers northwest of Fredericton.
