February 24, 2024 was the second anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.  In light of this, last week the Canadian Church and Christian leaders released and signed a pastoral letter on Ukraine, Canada, and the Church. These church leaders invite all to join them in praying for peace.

The Department for the Study of Religion at Saint Mary’s University will host a public lecture entitled: Converging Governmentalities: The Emergence of Catholic Residential Schools on Monday, March 25 at 7:00pm.  The speaker will be Darren Dias, OP, PhD, Executive Director of the Toronto School of Theology and Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of St. Michael’s College.

Join Momentum Single Catholic Mothers on Saturday, March 2, from 11:00am-2:00pm at Stella Maris Parish (6 St Michaels Ave, Halifax, NS).  This is an opportunity for local single mothers to gather, share and pray.
