A global movement is travelling in prayerful solidarity with the people of Gaza. Kairos, member churches and Development &Peace Caritas Canada are organizing a Gaza Ceasefire Pilgrimage.- Participants will meet Sunday April 28 at 1:00 PM for a prayerful walk to call for a just peace. The meeting point for the start of the walk will be the east side of the Commons on the sidewalk at Creighton Fields Gate, across from the corner of North Park and Nora Bernard Streets.People are welcome to join the walk at any point during the route.
The goal is to have 30 people walk/roll around the perimeter of the Commons three times - which would equal the length of the Gaza Strip. The Commons was chosen because there is good visibility with streets on all sides and no need to cross any streets. All are invited to join in this event.
