CCO Summer Mission in Halifax

From May 11 – June 9 the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth will host a mission for Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) that will see roughly 20 students and 4 staff travel to Halifax from across Canada to proclaim the Gospel and advance the work of evangelization.

These students will be divided onto teams that will serve the peninsula parishes of Good Shepherd, St. Francis and St. Clare, and St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica. There will also be public events that all those within the region will be able to take part in that will help to train people to be effective evangelists and leaders. Stay tuned to hear how you might be involved in this mission project, and please pray in particular for those coming on mission, as well as those in the parishes they will be serving.
