National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Last week, Archbishop Dunn released a Letter to the Faithful about the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  In the letter it is noted that the parishes and associated ministries of the Archdiocese will not be observing September 30 as a holiday, i.e. a “day off”.  Instead, all clergy, religious, and lay employees are asked to create and/or take part in opportunities for prayer, fasting, and repentance.  To read the full letter please click here.

Archbishop Dunn will celebrate the 12:15pm daily Mass at the Cathedral that day and will lead a reflection on the sorrowful mysteries of the rosary.  This Mass is open to all, keeping in mind COVID-19 protocols our current gathering limits.  The liturgy will also be livestreamed.  Click on the “Watch Daily Mass” link on the diocesan website: www.halifaxyarmouth.org
