Next week, the Knights of Columbus, Council 12917 at Holy Apostles Parish will host at talk titled, A Good Death: Challenges for Catholics Today. The presenter is Sister Nuala Kenny, OC, BA, MD, FRCP(C).
This presentation will focus on the Christian tradition of a good death following the suffering, dying and death of Jesus. It will identify key Catholic teaching and then identify challenges from the rapid normalization of MAiD as "death with dignity". Finally we will share insights on the spiritual and practical issues we need to address in this post-Christendom society.
